What is SETA?
The Southeastern Employment and Training Association (SETA) provides professional growth opportunities for all workforce development partners.Since 1973, SETA has provided a forum for thousands of workforce professionals in the Southeast: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. SETA is governed by a twenty-member board of directors representing all eight member states, along with private sector representatives from across the region.
How do I become a SETA member?
SETA membership is available to individual workforce development professionals and practitioners, private sector representatives, and workforce boards from our eight representative states. In addition, individuals outside our eight representative states are invited to join as well. Membership costs $40.00/per year for individual members and $250.00/per year for workforce boards.

Does SETA offer conferences?
Yes! The Fall and Spring Conferences are cornerstone events for our members. Twice a year, hundreds of workforce development professionals from the Southeast and beyond converge for a time of networking, professional development, and fun. These events are incredible opportunities to connect with other professionals and build relationships that can impact the trajectory of your personal career and inform the day-to-day operations of your respective organizations and agencies. Our conferences feature business meetings where members can voice concerns, offer innovative ideas, and vote on important SETA matters, including leadership elections.
How do I register for a conference?
Registration usually opens within a few months of each of our conferences. You can fully register for a conference online with just a few clicks. We deploy the highest measures of web security to ensure that your payment information is safe and protected.
