Call for Proposals

Presenting at a SETA conference provides opportunities for workforce development professionals to establish and promote their expertise in the field, create business development, and enhance their professional development as presenters and influencers.

This process is for Breakout Sessions only. Submissions meeting the following parameters will be evaluated against other proposals and conference objectives by the SETA program planning committee for inclusion in the conference workshop schedule:

  • Proposal content design should be flexible to fill a 60-minute workshop time slot.
  • Workshops should contain substantive, meaningful content consistent with the description provided in the online workshop submission form.
  • SETA is a non-profit professional organization that is cost-conscious. Presenters are responsible for all related expenses, including conference registration, lodging, and travel. Please ensure you have authorization to attend the conference before submitting a proposal.
  • The workshop design should allow attendees to exchange ideas and opinions, as well as ask questions regarding the presented topic.
  • Workshops should not be used to promote, market, or sell a specific product or service.
  • Workshops should utilize engaging presentation techniques and reference materials.
  • Selected presenters must upload an electronic version of their presentations to the Speaker Resource Center by the conference start date.
  • The program committee desires high-quality programs that represent good value for its membership.

The deadline for submissions is May 9.
